The Restaurant is located in the 150 year old manor house,
where meals may be enjoyed on the terrace on warm summer mornings and evenings,
or in the dining room where a fireplace keeps all cozy and warm on those cool
mornings or evenings.
Our menu is a set one, created daily using seasonal
ingredients, such as our home grown vegetables, fruits and herbs, as well as
fresh local products purchased daily. All meals are preceded by a glass of
Rozendal's own health inspiring vinegar and are prepared with French country
flair.
Our restaurant, situated in the homestead, offers a set menu
consisting of dishes created using ingredients that are always seasonal, a
large portion of which are taken straight from our bio-dynamic garden.
The cuisine can be described as fresh, creative and natural, making use of
homegrown vegetables, fruits and herbs, as well as local products such as
salmon trout and free-range duck breast. Meals may be enjoyed on the garden
terrace and in the dining room. The menu is created daily, preceded by a glass
of our own health-inspiring vinegar.
The historic wine cellar are over 150 years old. On over 18
acres of vineyards you can enjoy romantic walks through the vines or try some
of the selected wines at a wine tasting and take in the traditional wine
production. The wines produced at the Auberge Rozendal Wine Farm include a
Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and many other varieties that mature over two years
in the cellar.
The restaurant is open to the public 7 days a week, serving Lunch from 12:00 pm
- 2:00 pm and seating for Dinner from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm. The Restaurant is
closed June - August. Please note that advance booking of Lunch and Dinner
reservations are essential. The restaurant is open exclusively to our guests
for Breakfast throughout the year.
